COMMERCIAL LITIGATION
Commercial litigation to us involves all disputes between businesses and individuals or businesses and other businesses. For example, we have enforced a right of first refusal to purchase a farm between two business people operating farming businesses; the litigation was against the business owner's estate as he had died after entering into the transaction. We do not focus on the detailed subject matter or the venue of the litigation. We apply proven, aggressive litigation techniques to accomplish our clients' goals.
At HOLMES PITTMAN & HARAGUCHI, our attorneys handle all manner of commercial litigation cases, including trial and appellate level proceedings. We have extensive experience litigating contract disputes and tort claims, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. We have particular experience representing small and medium-sized business owners who cannot afford big law approaches and expenses to litigation. If required we will design litigation to the costs that are available to pursue it only - not some idealistic or unrealistic view that could only be done if money was no object.
